Sullivan is Three

Three Year Love Letter:

Sullivan,

Happy third birthday my sweet little love. You and I, we just get each other. You are incredibly smart and sensitive, you know what makes me and your Dad laugh. You are borderline OCD, in that crazy, funny toddler way, ie. your cars have to be lined up on the bathroom counter in a specific order and direction before you will go potty. You are already an expert negotiator; I figure I have another two years before you are completely out of my league. Raising you has been a joy and made your Father and I believe we were expert parents. We now realize your success has been due to about 10% our parenting and 90% you being your amazing self. You are a really fast runner, you can kick a soccer ball with impressive accuracy, you sleep like a log, you eat almost anything we give you (although you would live off of tomatoes and cucumbers if we let you), you love to dig for worms and swim in the lake and you are in love with our neighbor Chloe. You are very particular about what you wear, namely anything and everything you own donning Lightning McQueen all at once, every. single. day. You are the sweetest little boy I have ever met and you have filled our lives with endless happiness. Thank you for being you, we love you to the moon and back.

xoxo

Your very proud Mama

Three looks good on you buddy. Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Oh Chloe, if you only knew the love my boy had for you. He is smitten. He is beyond smitten. He tells us how much he thinks you love him, he tells us about your cute hair, cute eyes and small ears. He has declared you his best friend. He is in love. The Safeway Lightning McQueen birthday cake. You still treasure the Lightning McQueen that adorned the top of the cake and we still have to stop and admire the cake at the grocery store bakery every time we go shopping. Although I nearly choked at the price when I ordered it, it turned out to be the best $42 we spent on your party.
