So if you're reading this 30 years from now, and it's noon but your dear-old-Dad is asleep in his barcalounger, cut him some slack. He's probably still trying to catch up on all of the sleep he's being denied right now ;)

My Peeps.
As crazy as our schedule is, we have settled into a pretty good routine. Mornings start out calm with snuggles, sippies and Curious George. Then I realize I have half the time I thought I did and it's a mad dash to get you as ready as possible to help your Dad before he gets home from work. Then I leave for work, he finishes getting you ready, and it's off to school. Did you know your Dad is amazing? Like, really, really amazing. I'm sure by the time you are reading this you have figured that out. At this point in our lives he works at night and takes care of you all day, catching naps here and there, sleeping when Grandma Margaret helps out, or when I work from home. He works really hard and he takes such good care of all of you. He's tired a lot but he doesn't complain. We are so very lucky that even though we both have jobs that we love, you are always with one of us (and if you aren't, you're with Grandma and Grandpa). We realize how rare that is, and how incredibly lucky we are.
So if you're reading this 30 years from now, and it's noon but your dear-old-Dad is asleep in his barcalounger, cut him some slack. He's probably still trying to catch up on all of the sleep he's being denied right now ;)
