Sweet Sela

Sela, I volunteered in your class to help with the Valentine's day party. I was assigned the job of sitting with each of the sweet kiddos in your class while they went through their Valentine's box. They carefully examined each note and goody they received from their classmates. Their excitement took me right back to elementary school; such a fun day. Mrs. Morrison is the teacher's helper in your class this year and she grabbed my attention during the party. 'Sela has such an amazing outlook on the world. She asked me the other day if I had kids and I told her, (in a solemn tone) no, I don't have any children. And she said, Well yes you do, you have all of us!' You could tell how moved she was by your perspective. I told her how your Dad and I often talk about your 'take' on the world, and that if everyone viewed life the way you did, the world would be a truly amazing place. I love you so much sweetheart. Happy Valentine's Day.
