Kennewick

We slipped away this weekend to visit the Kennewick branch of the Sandusky family.  Drinks by the pool, good company, amazing food. now that's what I call a getaway.  Bob and Martha's amazing home was the perfect setting for some much appreciated summer fun.  Brian caught a nap (or three), the babies were able to swim to their heart's content and I was very grateful to have the entire family's support after a very long, and thankfully successful, week of potty training.

Pretty sure this was nap number two.

Our big walker!  Sela's bravery is growing by the day.  Her record is about fourteen steps and she is now letting go of support on her own, in order to walk to a destination she has decided on rather than wherever we aim her.  You can see the determination in her eyes as she watches all of the "big kids" run around the room.  She will be running along side of them before we know it.

Can't get enough of those chubbin' thighs!

By the most random of circumstances, Jenny, Casey and Ava were in Kennewick on Saturday to buy a new car.  The dealership was just a couple minutes away and Jenny and Ava had an hour or so to kill while Casey sealed the deal.  Thank you to Bobby and Martha for accommodating our friends as well!

 BFFs!

Thank you for the horses Grandma Meg, definitely a new favorite!
