Oh Sela, you are five years old and it's hard to even comprehend that much time has passed. You are so incredibly special, in so many ways. You are smart as a whip and goofy as ever. You ask the most insightful questions. Just a couple of days ago you asked me if animals know they are alive. So we had a conversation about self awareness and you totally got it. I constantly find myself in awe of you. You are special my love and the world is an infinitely better place because you are in it. We love you little sassafras.
We had a gymnastics birthday party with a few of your little friends. We all had so much fun!
You designed your very own cake from Happy Cakes. You asked for pink and purple polka dots with a black and white cat hanging off the side...and that's exactly what you got :) You also asked to eat the cat's head!
