The new Freedom Tower is amazing and moving and truly a symbol of unity and resilience. The last time we visited New York they were still digging out the footprints of the twin towers. The memorial pools are breathtaking and somber and the 9/11 museum was a haunting reminder of that awful day, while serving as a true memorial for those we lost and how far we have come.
We found theeee best German Pub in the East Village. All of the beer was brewed in house and everything was made from scratch. They even fly the dough in from Belgium each week for their pretzels. Seriously the best.
I was a pretty big fan of their Oktoberfest brew ;)
So I am sure you know by now how amazing of a ping pong player your Dad is. We went to a swanky bar in the Meat Packing District and wouldn't you know, they had ping pong tables in the middle of the bar.Your dear old Dad dominated.
Such a stud.
Authentic NYC pizza. Nothing compares.
One of your Dad's colleagues came to NYC for the weekend too and we met up with him and his friend who had just moved to New York. These guys were so much fun! All of us at the Gotham comedy show.
On the train to Philly. NYC you are as wild and fun as ever. Until next time!
