Christmas really was everything we hoped it would be. We were so blessed to have Brian's Grandparents and Bob and Martha join us for the festivities and Papa Phil's sons and their girlfriends joined us for dinner later in the day. The kids had a fabulous time and it was so nice to all be together and just enjoy each others company.
Sullivan was still tired and perhaps a bit overwhelmed when he came downstairs Christmas morning.
Santa brought Sullivan a table and chairs that is just his size. He absolutely loves his new furniture. It is the center of his play area now and he loves to rearrange the chairs and practice saying his colors. We only have "blue" down pat so far but the other colors are coming along nicely.
Sela baby's first Christmas! She did so great and had so much fun.
Sela loves Christmas!
Jilli is fairly certain that she is big enough to take care of the baby by herself. My Mom has shown me numerous pictures and told many stories about Aleshia doing the same thing with me when we were this age so it must be in her DNA. She is the best big cousin. I can't even begin to imagine the fun these two will have together as they grow up. It makes me smile to think about me and Aleshia taking our girls shopping, getting pedicures, going to lunch and just being girls together. I think about the relationship my sisters and I have with my Mom and I feel so blessed to have a daughter so that we too can have that special relationship. Its incredible to know that it is already developing at just four months.
Sullivan passed out the Vanessa Behan Santa Express presents he picked out for everyone. Mommy got a Christmas decoration, Daddy got some Christmas cards. Thank you Sullibean!
Oh man do my boys like to wrestle. Nothing makes Sullivan laugh harder then when Brian chases after his, tosses him in the air or wrestles with him on the ground. Sullivan is already attempting to wrestle Sela when she is on the ground. I'm thinking she is going to be one tough little cookie.
Jilli knows how to howl at the moon. This is of course one of the cutest things I have ever seen. She was showing off he new found talent while hanging out with Uncle Brian.
Sullivan absolutely adores Grandma Ruth, as do the rest of us. They had so much fun playing with all of his new toys, reading books and just being together. We felt so blessed that we all got to be together for the holiday.
Auntie Kristen helped Miles bake a cake for Jesus' birthday and we all gathered around to sing Happy Birthday to Jesus.
