Happy New Year!

New Years at Leavenworth has become such a special tradition for our family.  This year the Hoover family joined us for the festivities with the Sanduskys and the Howards and we have a fabulous time.  When we started going to Leavenworth for new years there were no grand kids and we are now up to seven with two more on the way!
Uncle Scotty broke his leg, which of course is very unfortunate, although Sullivan and the other little ones had a great time riding on his scooter.
A little tummy time for Selababy!

Every year we have a cooking competition.  This year it was an appetizer and drink pairing.  Brian and I made Turkish cigars served in a cigar box.  We were trying to win points for creativity, since I forgot to add the salt and pepper to the recipe, therefore we were clearly not going to win for taste.  Jim and Jone won and we got third place overall!  Next year it is pizzas from specific countries.

Happy New Year!
