Sullivan has settled into preschool better than I ever expected. He adores his teacher and loves his friends. In particular he tells me about Carter, who has blond hair, Lucas who wears a blue shirt (I'm assuming just the one time, but this is still how he refers to him) and of course Jack. He always comes out of class beaming and excited to show me and Sela what he worked on that day.
I knew that this would be a pivotal time for Sullivan and a special time for me and Sela. However, I didn't fully realize just how much I would cherish this one-on-one time with my sweet girl. She is such a dream. Some days we run errands together, sometimes we meet up with friends at the park for a playdate, sometimes we just putter around and enjoy being together. No matter what we choose to do I catch myself just staring at her, taking it all in, loving every bit of her.
I love you sweet girl.
