We still have a few more weeks of summer but I feel her performance coming to a close. I love the Northwest for its four definitive seasons and weather that always delivers. It has been a great summer; one for the books. Our little book anyway, which at this point is full of pages filled with swimming, bbqs, friends, family, parties, great food, ice cream, last minute get togethers, parties that were months in the making, new babies, birthdays, lots of play dates, pregnancy scares and answered prayers and of course, cooking, cooking and more cooking! We are going to live up these last few weeks of sun and prepare for the slow turn of the weather, when we will happily welcome, sweaters, boots, football season and hot comfort food.
The arrival of these beauties might have been the catalyst for my dreams of Fall.
These are much cuter in a non-giant size but I am going to rock them anyway.
