"Daddy's Home"

When I announce those words to Sullivan at the end of the day it is pure magic.  He has this insanely funny laugh when he is trying to get your attention and when we walk onto the porch to greet Brian, Sullivan bends down so that he can see into the car window and laughs as hard as he can, presumably to get Brian's attention as well as to accurately convey his level of excitement.  There is something about a father and son relationship that is indescribably special.  Not having any brothers of my own it wasn't something I was familiar with but I am lucky enough to be a witness to this never ending display of admiration, love, respect and guidance between them.  Every day unfolds a new dimension of their relationship but sometimes I also get the feeling that they have known each other for years and its as if two old friends have been reunited.  They were meant to be together.
